Robert Oppenheimer was the director of the Institute for Advanced Study from 1947 to 1966. The grounds are essentially the same as depicted in the film Oppenheimer except for modifications of buildings. Albert Einstein was faculty and a theorist at the Institute from 1933 to 1955. For seven years they overlapped their tenure, but were working on different projects.
