In this video, Robert Mignone, DO, Medical Director of the Sleep Surgical Program at Princeton Medical Center discusses Inspire therapy, a surgical implant used to treat obstructive sleep apnea, a condition that can lead to serious health issues. The implant provides an alternative to continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP. This procedure has been shown to result in a significant decrease in patients’ apnea events.
